Warning: Spoilers Ahead

Hold onto the rails, my Z-Whackers, because you’ve got one hell of an episode coming your way tomorrow. Hot damn, where do I start and what can I tell you without giving too much away! Well, as the title of the episode indicates, the focus is on Murphy and his learning the ropes of being a single Dad. The guy actually does a pretty good job with little Lucy, but unfortunately, the rest of the group has other plans. Even though she is Murphy’s spawn and Murphy isn’t really a zombie, Lucy is still considered a threat, and so the group’s main goal is to separate Murphy from the baby while they figure out what to do with her.

Well, Murphy isn’t about to just stick around and wait while his so-called “friends” plot the kidnapping of his daughter. So, he abandons camp with Lucy in tow, leaving Cassandra in charge to make sure no one leaves.

In the meantime, Vasquez runs into some trouble that nearly gets him killed, but Warren shows up in the nick of time to save the day. During these scenes we finally learn the back story of Vasquez, and get ready, folks, because it’s a real tear-jerker.

Lastly, everyone needs to brace themselves because unfortunately, another main character doesn’t make it to the end of the episode alive. I know, I know, we just lost Mack, and because of that, this death is going to hurt even more. However, the creative team warned us before the premiere even aired that this season was going to be brutal. And, boy, they didn’t lie.

Episode 2.06 of Z Nation  is titled “Zombie Baby Daddy” and airs Friday at 10/9c on Syfy.
