Warning: Spoilers Ahead
Murphy may have gone off the deep end last week, but he will be very glad to learn in tonight’s episode that not all of his Z-minions met a rocky grave at the bottom the Grand Canyon. Some were bold enough to break off from the herd and go straight through the flames, leaving them back on our group’s tail once again.
With a mini-horde after them and the smoke from the fire becoming unbearable, Warren and Co. seek refuge in a remote hotel that had been last used for corporate seminars before the apocalypse hit. Led by Gideon (Anthony Michael Hall) — a corporate conflict resolution specialist and a certified prick — the hotel started out with 120 survivors and is now down to about a half dozen. Even with Gideon being an arrogant, uptight asshole, the people appear to be decent, but that all changes when someone shoots Murphy (Keith Allan) in the chest and nearly kills him.
This is truly a fantastic episode and without getting too spoilery, here’s a few teasers on what you can expect:
Episode 2.11 of Z Nation is titled “Corporate Retreat” and airs Friday at 10/9c on Syfy.
