Warning: Spoilers Ahead
Last week’s episode left some of the characters near-and-dear to our hearts in some pretty dire straits. We already knew that Beth was in a bad situation, being held at Grady Memorial and subjected to the abuse by psycho-cop Dawn. Now, after being run over by none-other than more psycho cops from the hospital, Carol is in even worse shape, and we can suspect she will be fighting for her life in the next couple of episodes.
So, what can we expect in tomorrow’s episode? Well, if last Sunday was the recon mission, then tomorrow’s episode will the planning phase for a full-blown rescue attempt. There’s been lots of speculation surrounding this episode, but here are my top 5 predictions:
1. Rick’s group will NOT make it to the hospital in this episode but will arrive in Atlanta.
2. Even though they don’t make it all the way to the hospital, Rick’s team does have a pretty rough run-in with some of the security cops.
3. Rick, Daryl, Sasha, Tyreese, and Noah will be the ones going on the rescue mission, leaving Carl, Michonne, and Father Gabriel to wait at the church.
4. Before Rick and Co. leaves for Atlanta, they make the church somewhat “walker-proof” and in a way that should be familiar to most viewers.
5. We will be seeing Abraham’s group in this episode but they won’t be returning to the church and won’t be participating in the rescue mission.

If you are a Tyreese fan, I would actually be a little concerned about #3. If you hadn’t heard yet, Chad Coleman has been cast in a new series, and so there is a great deal of speculation that Tyreese’s days are numbered. And, I wasn’t too concerned yet until I realized that Tyreese was going to be a part of the rescue mission. Right now, everyone seems to be worried about Beth and Carol, but could Tyreese end up being a casualty that no one really thought about? Well, we’re getting down to the wire, and I suspect we’ll know soon enough.
Episode 5.07 of The Walking Dead is titled “Crossed” and airs tomorrow night at 9/8c on AMC.
