Man, what a tear-jerker of an episode last week. The reality of Saperstein’s (Santino Fontana) death sat in not only with Woz’s (Ray Liotta) crew in general, but in particular with Harlee (Jennifer Lopez) as she struggled in deciding what to do next. Fortunately, by the end of the episode, she made the right decision and joined Stahl (Warren Kole) in his efforts to take down Wozniak once and for all.
In this week’s episode, Harlee’s collaboration with Stahl uncovers Wozniak’s secret relationship with Donnie (guest star Michael Esper). In the meantime, Wozniak decides to take charge of the big job after picking up a package that turns out to be a kidnapped man.
And, a mysterious call to Saperstein’s desk forces the crew to face their mixed feelings about their fallen friend and ultimately decide to preserve his memory.
Episode 1.09 of Shades of Blue is titled “Live Wire Act” and airs Thursday at 10/9c on NBC.
