Nearly 3 weeks ago, we were all left reeling with perhaps the most shocking episode of the season thus far. In a showdown with the Brotherhood, “Scarface” is killed, and Elias makes a very blatant declaration of war on Dominic and his entire crew. In the meantime, another declaration of war was made by Greer, Martine, and Samaritan as they realize that the Machine may have the upper hand by being able to shield Shaw and the rest of Finch’s team.
In tomorrow’s episode, it looks like at least one of these wars is about to begin. In a very drastic movie, Samaritan will take control of New York for 48 hours, which is designed to lure The Machine including Reese, Shaw, Root, Fusco and Finch out into the open. It will wipe out crime for the sole purpose of finding The Machine and taking it down.
Episode 4.10 of Person of Interest is titled “The Cold War” and airs tomorrow night at 10/9c on CBS. It is the 1st episode of a trilogy with the remaining 2 episodes airing when the series returns in January.
