Warning: Spoilers Ahead
If the premiere was about a fantastic trip down memory lane and last week was the long-awaited reunion of all of our characters, then this week is about kicking the season in high gear and hitting the ground running. Sarah now knows she’s got one of those bionic maggots in her cheek, and it’s all hands on deck (well, at least most hands) to help her figure out what it is and how to remove it.
While my personal favorite clone, Alison, took a back seat in last week’s episode, she’s front-and-center in tomorrow’s installment and right there next to her man, Donnie. Oh, yes, while Cosima and Scott are at The Rabbit Hole analyzing the implant from video images, Alison and Donnie decide to take a more “hands on” approach — literally! If you think back to season 2, you probably can figure out the idea the dynamic duo hatches — HINT: It may be time for Donnie to actually buy a jackhammer instead of renting one.
Besides Alison, Rachel also gets a lot of screen time this week, and boy, is she pissed. She was already upset when she found out that dear Mom had deceived her and was, in fact, still alive, but that pales compared to her reaction when learning who Susan Duncan raised as her son after abandoning her. The good news is dear Charlotte isn’t as loyal to Mommy as you would think and actually takes a liking to Rachel, going as far as helping her get messages out.
In the meantime, Felix continues to be a bitch and even blows off Sarah when she asks for his help. After all, he just can’t be bothered given that he just tracked down his long-lost biological sister (who also happens to be cray cray!). I understand what Felix is going through, I really do, but man, I hope he snaps out of it soon because this Felix is nowhere near as fun and in fact, quite annoying.
Episode 4.03 of Orphan Black is titled “The Stigmata of Progress” and airs Thursday at 10/9c on BBC America.
