Even though it’s been more than 2 years ago, it seems like just yesterday when Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) was kidnapped and tortured by serial rapist, William Lewis (Pablo Schreiber). Unfortunately, Benson may be getting a repeat of the entire ordeal in this week’s SVU.
The episode centers on a home invasion gone bad with Benson stuck right in the middle. Executive Producer Warren Leight says, “It almost feels like it takes place in real time at gunpoint in the middle of a home invasion so it has a different clock to it. Benson, a little stressed, steps into a hellish nightmare, drops her guard for a nanosecond and there goes, possibly, her life.”
Will Benson survive the attack, and if so, what more damage will it do to this woman who has already been through so much?
Episode 17.11 of Law & Order: SVU is titled “Townhouse Incident” and airs Wednesday at 9/8c on NBC.
