Last Friday was the Helix “Black Goo Friday” season 1 marathon, and I don’t know about everyone else, but after watching that, I am so ready and excited for season 2.
But we don’t have to wait until January to get a glimpse of what is to come because Syfy just released an Extended Sneak Peek for season 2.
Helix centers on a team of scientists from the Centers for Disease Control who travel to the high-tech research facility, Arctic Biosystems, to investigate a possible disease outbreak, only to find themselves pulled into a terrifying life-and-death struggle that may hold the key to mankind’s salvation or total annihilation. However, the lethal threat is just the tip of the iceberg, and as the virus evolves, the chilling truth begins to unravel.
Helix Season 2 premieres Friday, Jan. 16 at 10/9c, leading out of the 12 Monkeys series premiere.
