This season of Helix has been crazy since day 1, but in the next episode things are about to be kicked up to a whole new level.
Check out the below 2 exclusive clips to get a peek at the wild roller coaster ride that is waiting for us this Friday. In the first clip, we see the fallout of the seizure-like episode Landry experienced after being injected with Sarah’s spinal fluid (and no telling what else was in that syringe). Poor Landry! The guy’s face reminds me of the Elephant Man. And, what does Landry get for his sacrifice? Beaten in the face by queen bitch Sister Amy because she thinks Landry is the one who took “Mother.” But when her temper tantrums don’t work and she’s still left without immortality, Amy moves on to her backup plan — getting what she wants from a much more powerful immortal, Julia Walker. Hmmm…. Dr. Walker is pretty tough, and something tells me Amy’s underestimating the resistance she’ll get if she uses the same tactics on Julia as she did on Sarah.
The 2nd clip shows a side of Anne that we’ve never seen before and one that calls into question whether she truly is the “sensible” one as Michael called her. Welcome to Anne’s House of Horrors. We saw in the premiere how Anne was leading some kind of procedure which involved the pulling of a young girl’s teeth and forcing some yellow gunk down her throat. We still don’t know exactly what she’s trying to do, but this video provides a clear picture of the extent of these “experiments.” An entire room is filled with women, bleeding and with tubes forcing this goo down their throats. We can also hear several babies crying. WTF?! And, take a look at Peter’s face. We may have thought Peter was a little unhinged but man, the expression on his face is saying, “Holy sh*t! This woman has serious issues.” I am very curious to find out what Anne is trying to accomplish and whether Peter is trustworthy and is able to keep her secret.
And, of course, with all of this going on, we still have to deal with the problem of poor Kyle. The yellow boils have started to show, he’s hallucinating, he’s becoming violent, and we all know how this will end if the team doesn’t hurry up and find that Bleeding Tree.
