Warning: Spoilers Ahead
The ending to last week’s episode I don’t think could have possibly been more intense. Gordon has been arrested for Oswald Cobblepot’s murder, Bullock is about to be arrested, and in the midst of all that chaos Oswald walks through the door of the precinct, all smiles and knowing full well the shit storm he’s about to kick up.
In tomorrow’s episode, that storm hits full-force. Fish Mooney is completely freaking out because of the Penguin’s intimate knowledge of her plans to overthrow Falcone. On the other hand, Maroni is calm, collected, and convinced more than ever that Oswald is his ace-in-the-hole in the war against Falcone. And, of course, the Penguin is just laughing his ass off and enjoying the moment. We also see for the first time Batman baddie Victor Zsasz as he makes a big introduction in a pretty intense scene at the GCPD.
Episode 1.07 of Gotham is titled “Penguin’s Umbrella” and airs Monday at 8/7c on FOX.
