Even before Z Nation premiered, there were rumors that eventually we would see a zombie bear this season, and this Friday the wait is finally over. In tomorrow’s episode, our group of survivors pass through Salt Lake City, UT and encounter a women’s cult. The cult’s leader will be played by Kelly McGillis, who has been dispatched to locate a zombie bear.
Many of you may remember McGillis as one of the big action stars of the 80s, starring in numerous blockbusters such as Top Gun, Witness, and The Accused. She continued acting in the 90s but then left the industry altogether. She only recently started acting again and to take on such projects as Z Nation.
Episode 1.11 of Z Nation is titled “Sisters of Mercy” and airs tomorrow night at 10/9c on Syfy.
