Warning: Spoilers Ahead
Man, that was one humdinger of a cliffhanger in last week’s episode! But, thankfully, in just 2 more short days, we’ll finally get some answers, and hopefully, the crew of the Raza some revenge as well.
Just like last week’s first installment of this 2-parter, Friday’s episode knocks it out of the park once again. Lots of action as we would expect, secrets revealed, and even more questions raised by the end of the hour. Can’t wait until Friday? Here’s a few teasers that should carry you over (and get the fandom buzzing!) for the next 48 hours:
1. Our new rogue group of criminals decide that one member of the Raza crew is not expendable and actually valuable to them, which ultimately saves his/her life. Any guesses as to who that is? The answer may surprise you, as it’s not who you’d expect.
2. Both One and Three take the apparent death of Two pretty hard, which is understandable since both had a relationship with her, even if only for a brief while. Who do you think took it the hardest? Yeah, it’s our softie that we-love-to-hate, Three. Of course, he blows it off, saying they had just 1 night together and that it didn’t mean anything, but come on, Three. Really? We know you have the biggest heart on the ship, so give it a rest!
3. As most fans had suspected (or at least hoped!), Two does survive being spaced (yay!). But, how do you think it happened? Did that drug that turned people into flesh-eating zombies somehow make her immortal? Or, has there been something special about her from the beginning? Yes, folks, we do get the answer to that question, and the answer turns out to be quite shocking.
4. Besides the great news that Two is still alive, another thing we can celebrate is that a**hole Wexler gets what’s coming to him by the end of the episode. Anyone care to take a stab as to how he dies (now, this one is **not** that hard)?
5. Lastly, we also find out exactly what the crew went through so much trouble to steal in the last episode. Six makes the very wise comment that “if 3 corporations are willing to kill to get this thing, it can’t be good.” It turns out he was right on target. The team ultimately decides to complete their mission and deliver the device anyways, and it is only after they do it, do they realize the terrible mistake they just made. It is revealed that the device is some kind of new weapon of mass destruction (with a big emphasis on **mass**), and their error is made clear as the horrors unfold before their eyes. Everyone on the Raza has done some pretty sh*tty things, but this one may turn out to be the worse of them all.
“Episode Eleven” of Dark Matter airs Friday at 10/9c on Syfy.
