Warning: General spoilers ahead
I’m not one who normally “ships” characters on television shows, but I must admit I’ve been kind of rooting for Drs. Halstead and Manning. So, needless to say, I was beyond thrilled last week when Will finally stepped up and planted the now-famous kiss. The only question now is will anything come of it? There’s obviously some chemistry there, but will it be enough to overcome the blatant professional differences between the 2? We shall see.
In Tuesday’s episode, Dr. Rhodes (Colin Donnell) and Dr. Choi (Brian Tee) disagree over the final decision made by a patient suffering from a life-threatening heart condition. The pending lawsuit against Dr. Halstead (Nick Gehlfuss) continues to move forward and Sarah Reese (Rachel DiPillo) and Dr. Zanetti (guest star Julie Berman) scramble to save a patient with a misdiagnosed flesh-eating bacterial disease.
In the meantime Dr. Manning (Torrey DeVitto) treats a young girl diagnosed with a contagious bacteria, prompting her and Dr. Halstead to take action to avoid a major outbreak.
Episode 1.11 of Chicago Med is titled “Intervention” and airs Tuesday at 9/8c on NBC.
