Warning: General spoilers ahead
Still reeling from that mother of a twist in the final moments of last week’s episode? First, John Donovan (Jimmy Smits) is told that his campaign manager, Nilaa Mizrani (Sheila Vand) was a member of a radical mosque when she was college, but when confronted, she explains she was only there to try and temper the hate that its members were known for. Makes sense — and Donovan believes her. But, little does he know that is about to be turned upside down when it is revealed the Rangers’ info had been accessed with Rebecca’s (Miranda Otto) credentials but from Nilaa’s computer at campaign headquarters. So, I guess we know everything now and have all of this figured out, right? Umm, don’t be so sure. After only 3 episodes in, it’s becoming abundantly clear that things aren’t as they seem on this show. I.E. — brace yourselves because if you were stunned with last week’s twist, just you wait.
After Andy (Dan Bucatinsky) and Rebecca are finally cleared, they are able to contact the police station about Carter (Corey Hawkins) and the drug money — and just in time too. Carter is cornered, had just taken one of the police officers hostage, and things were about to get really ugly really fast. That’s the good news, and it’s about all the good news in this episode, as just about everything else goes sideways. Even though Carter does have the $2 million dollars and is able to meet Grimes ( Charlie Hofheimer) in time, the situation quickly goes south.
In the meantime, the situation at the school with Harris and Amira (Kathryn Prescott) also goes from bad to worse. They are fully expecting to be activated at any time along with Amira’s brother, Harris has yet to finish the explosives, and now, they have a dead boy on the floor of the high school chemistry lab. Of course, as they find out, moving a body during normal school hours isn’t so easy and mistakes are made, leaving Amira no choice but to take desperate measures that could put the entire operation in jeopardy. Of all the shockers in tonight’s episode, this one by far has the biggest jolt. So, hold onto the rails and prepare to be shocked and awed.
Finally, Nicole (Anna Diop), becoming increasingly suspicious of Aisha (Tiffany Hines), has Eric check into the last phone call Aisha made — the one she didn’t want Nicole to hear. With the help of the CTU, she is able to get a recording of the phone call, and her suspicions are confirmed. However, Aisha is also becoming increasingly suspicious of Nicole, pretty much locking her down and not letting her out of her sight. The situation becomes desperate very fast, and the only question is can Nicole wrestle Aisha’s hold on her long enough to contact Isaac and warn him.
Episode “2:00 PM – 3:00 PM” of 24:Legacy airs tonight at 9/8c on FOX.
