Warning: Spoilers Ahead

Man, Cole was so screwed at the end of last week’s episode. His destroying the Night Room somehow changed something critical, and when Cole returns, he finds himself in an alternate reality — a very bad alternate reality.

In the below sneak peek video, we see just how bad. Not only is the base occupied by the West 7, but Deacon is no longer in charge. Instead, a very “Governor”-like Ramse — eye patch and all — is now running the show, and for some reason, he’s not exactly thrilled to see Cole. The good news is Dr. Jones is still alive, and assuming the time machine is still completely operational, she should be able to send Cole back to try and reverse whatever damage that was done.

Let us not forget that Dr. Railly has been kidnapped as well. So, on this next trip to 2015, Cole has to pull double duty to not only undo the damage he did but also save Cassie. To pull this off, he elicits the help from a very unlikely ally.
