Up until recently, Walker Stalker Con had been a convention that focused primarily on The Walking Dead and then a short time later, The Vampire Diaries. Since its creation in 2013, it has widely expanded to include horror movies as well as other TV series including Z Nation, Hannibal, and then, most recently, Bates Motel. I’m a big fan of all of these shows, but I was particularly excited about Bates Motel since the series’ 4th season is currently airing, and it’s so fantastic to be able to ask cast members questions as the storylines unfold.
Well, this weekend at Walker Stalker Con Nashville, I was fortunate enough to attend the Bates Motel Q & A panel with series stars Nestor Carbonell and Kenny Johnson. First, yes, Kenny is still very much a cast member, and even though he may currently be chilling in Costa Rica, it’s likely we’ll see Caleb again — just don’t know if it’ll be this season. And, of course, I was beyond thrilled with Nestor being there since his character has figured so prominently in season 3. Be sure to check out the below clips from the panel where Nestor talks about Romero’s shocking decision to marry Norma, that very awkward wedding scene, his most memorable scenes with Vera Farmiga and more.
Speaking of Romero and his whirlwind marriage to Norma Bates, this is a nice lead-in to tonight’s new episode. As you may recall, in the last episode 2 weeks ago, Romero and Norma’s night on the town as White Pine Bay’s perfect and happy married couple is cut short when they return home and find their house has been trashed. As Norma said herself, who could have possibly done this? Someone involved in one of Romero’s shady dealings? Or, could Romero’s old flame, Rebecca, have turned into a jealous stalker and trashed the place herself? Rebecca didn’t seem too pleased to run into Romero and Norma together last week, and something tells me she’s not used to being dumped for another woman. So, I’m betting on the jealous bitch, but of course, you’ll have to watch to find out for sure.
Here’s the episode’s official synopsis:
Norman tries to confide in Dr. Edwards, but worries he may reveal too much. Norma hires a craftsman to fix a window and Romero uncovers a crime that threatens his new life.
