When a mutilated corpse washes ashore, Agent Liz Keen (Megan Boone) consults Red (James Spader) over what he knows about the deadly underworld of wildlife poachers. Meanwhile Agent Donald Ressler (Diego Klattenhoff) develops a dangerous habit.

At the end of the day, it appears this case-of-the-week is going to be only a sideshow with the big reveal to be what or who Liz is hiding and why has she been hiding it from Reddington.  My bet is it’s Tom Keen (Ryan Eggold), and Liz is the one who took him from the crime scene in the season one finale.  Another big arc that is emerging is this girl Zoe Dantonio (Scottie Thompson, NCIS) who we are told is Reddington’s daughter.  I think most believe that Liz is, in fact, Red’s daughter, but if this Zoe is his real daughter, what is Liz to Reddington?  Either way, this sounds like one fantastic episode that you won’t want to miss.

Episode 2.06 of The Blacklist  is titled “The Mambasa Cartel” and airs Monday at 10/9c on NBC.
