Warning: Spoilers Ahead

Well, this is it, folks! Murphy and Co. have officially arrived in California, and so, after a quick check-in with the CDC, mission is accomplished. The world is saved, and everyone can join hands and sing Kumbaya, right? Uh, huh, somehow I don’t think so. That lady we saw at the end of last week’s episode appeared to be nice, but something tells me everything isn’t as it seems.

And, boy, is that ever an understatement. I’ve screened Friday’s season 2 finale, and I can say that our group runs into trouble almost right from the get-go. What’s more, it doesn’t let up not even for a minute, making for a very dense hour of non-stop action. And, just like last year’s season 1 finale, it leaves us with a giant cliffhanger to pine over for the next 9 months. All in all, a fantastic end to a fantastic season, and while I don’t want to give anything away, here are a few teasers on what to expect in Friday’s explosive finale:

1. There is a hell of a fight scene, and Warren (Kellita Smith) is kicked to a whole new level of bad-ass.
2. As the below promo photos indicate, 10K (Nat Zang) is seriously injured in the fight and is left fighting for his life.
3. Poor Citizen Z (DJ Qualls) finally runs out of batteries and power and ends up having to abandon Camp Northern Lights (and, yes, the dog does come with him :-)). However, his journey doesn’t go very well, and that promo photo of him appearing to be frozen isn’t an exaggeration. By the end of the hour, he’s in a pretty precarious situation, and we are left not sure at all if he’s going to make it.
4. Perhaps one of the biggest shockers of the finale is the reveal that a recurring character that we thought was long dead is, in fact, still alive (and, no, it’s not that bitch Queen of the Zeroes). Be prepared for your jaws to drop with this one!
5. After Murphy (Keith Allan) is delivered to the CDC, one character decides to leave the group, and almost immediately, the survivors get a new replacement.
6. The final scene of the episode depicts the return of another recurring character and is, without a doubt, one of the most hilarious scenes EVER on Z Nation. I honestly could not stop laughing! No spoilers here on the identity of this character, but I will ask, “Tea anyone?”
