Warning: Spoilers Ahead

You thought last week’s episode was insane with the reveal that Ramse is The Witness, right? Well, hold onto the rails, folks, because it’s about to get even crazier.

In tonight’s penultimate episode, we see the aftermath of Cole reappearing in 2015 after having been shot in 1987. This is yet another epic episode, and I don’t want to spoil it for anyone, but here are a few hints of what to expect:

• We get to see a very young Dr. Jones for the first time and the infancy of her quantum splintering research.
• Aaron Marker shows his true colors finally, and it’s not very pretty.
• We get some of the backstory of Cole when he was a child, and we also learn how he and Ramse met.
• Whitley shows back up at the compound in 2043, and he doesn’t bring good news at all.
• Has everyone forgotten about Deacon? Well, you shouldn’t have because he is officially back, and of course, nothing good will come of that.

The season 1 penultimate episode of 12 Monkeys  is titled “Paradox” and airs tonight at 9/8c on Syfy.
