Before season 3 even premiered, I was already missing Joe Carroll and wondered if the show could go on without him. Then, they introduced a great new baddie, Neil (Glenn Fleshler), in “Boxed In” only to kill him off less than an episode later. Sigh. So, I was back to pining over Joe Carroll and anxiously awaiting his return. Fortunately, the wait is over, and that crazy serial killer that we love to hate is back — at least for the time being.
Official Synopsis from FOX: “With their latest target on the run, Ryan and Mike follow a tip to a small town to investigate and confirm he isn’t seeking protection. While in town, they both discover an even larger threat who has managed to avoid suspicion up until now. Meanwhile, Max struggles to make a confession.”
Episode 3.06 of The Following is titled “Reunion” and airs Monday at 9/8c on FOX.
