Warning: Spoilers Ahead
I don’t know about everyone else but I was stunned beyond belief in the last episode with the revelation that the fire that killed Leslie Shay was the potential work of a serial arsonist. Wow times 10. I certainly didn’t see that one coming, and I absolutely cannot wait to see how this all plays out. One thing is for sure — whoever is responsible for that fire, you are going to have hell to pay. Firehouse 51 isn’t just a group of firefighters and paramedics — they are a family. You hurt one of their own, and you’ll be lucky to live to tell about it.
Official Synopsis of episode from NBC: ” More clues surface surrounding the fire that killed Shay, leading Severide (Taylor Kinney) to a most unexpected source who may be able to provide pertinent information. Meanwhile, Shay’s sister Megan (guest star Ellen Woglom) comes to town, prompting members of the firehouse to remember Shay’s life. Elsewhere, Cruz (Joe Minoso) is in for a surprise when Otis’s (Yuri Sardarov) grandmother moves into their apartment, while Boden finds a way to help his dying father (guest star Richard Roundtree) make the most of his last few weeks.”
Robert Knepper (“Prison Break”) guest-stars as the suspected serial arsonist, Elliot Gish.
The first of this 2-part crossover event airs tomorrow night with Chicago Fire at 10/9c on NBC, with it wrapping up on Wednesday with Chicago P.D.
