Warning: Spoilers Ahead
Well, Monday is almost here, and if series star Barry Sloane was telling the truth in a recent interview, we should find out tomorrow night who or what “Drill” is and exactly what we’re dealing with. Am I excited? Hell, yeah, and excited is an understatement.
Last week’s episode ended with the reveal that all of Drill’s little tasks that he had given to Harper, Minx, Sean Bennigan and no telling how many other recruits, were designed to cause a meltdown of Harper Point Nuclear Power Plant (and very likely several others across the country). Now that Wes and Claire know what the plan is and with potentially millions of lives on the line, tomorrow they must work against the clock to prevent it from actually being carried out.
Do you think they’ll make it in time? So far, Drill has demonstrated superior power, intelligence and unlimited resources, and so, my money’s on Drill winning this particular “game” by a landslide.
Episode 1.04 of The Whispers is titled “Meltdown” and airs Monday at 10/9c on ABC.
