If you are a Walking Dead fan, the place to be this weekend is Atlanta where Walker Stalker Con 2014 is being held.  Most of the cast — both past and present — are here, and today marked the kick-off of a whole list of fantastic panels.  This included the one that turned out to be my favorite by a long shot, the Abraham’s Army panel, featuring Josh McDermitt (Dr. Eugene Porter), Michael Cudlitz (Sgt. Abraham Ford), and Christian Serratos (Rosita Espinoza).

A few of the highlights:

• With Josh also being a stand-up comedian, this panel was by far the most entertaining with the audience laughing almost the entire time.
• When asked how he is most like Eugene, Josh didn’t hesitate in saying that he’s got Eugene’s body — I.E. he’s a little on the heavy side.
• Michael is the oldest of the three and is somewhat of a father figure in the group as he is constantly texting Josh and Christian to remind them to do certain things.
• Josh isn’t a very technical person and so his character’s rattling off all of that techie mumbo-jumbo is probably the hardest part of his job.  He said that the scene in the premiere where he explained a potential plan to beat the zombie virus was one of the most difficult ones.
• When asked what Eugene would do without Abraham at his side, Michael provided a somewhat unsettling answer stating we may find out in season 5.  Then, both Josh and Michael covered their microphones and had a sidebar conversation.  I wonder what it was about.  What does this mean?  Surely Abraham (or any of the three for that matter)  isn’t going to be killed off so soon? Either way, I’m a tad bit nervous now.  Actually more than a bit nervous. Okay, Mary, breathe. Just breathe.
