While there are still 5 episodes left in season 2 of The Strain (Yay!), the title and synopsis for the finale were released today. The title of the episode is “Night Train,” and below is the official description from FX:
“Setrakian and Fet battle for possession of the Occido Lumen, and gain a surprising new ally. A massive attack imperils Eph, Nora, and Zack’s escape from New York. Teleplay by Carlton Cuse & Chuck Hogan; directed by Vincenzo Natali.”
For those who are fans of the trilogy, you probably have a good idea of which arc in the books will be featured in the finale given this description. And, if you are right, I think we all can expect a hell of an end of the season and one fans will be talking about for some time.
The season 2 finale of The Strain airs October 4th at 10/9c on FX.
