Okay, folks, we’re getting down to the wire! San Diego Comic-Con is just 5 days away, and Walker Stalker Fan Fest is just 1 week out! WS Fan Fest will be held next Friday and Saturday, July 10-11, in the Petco Park, and so, if you’re attending SDCC or love The Walking Dead and live in the area, head on down for 2 days of zombie-loving fun.
Following their recently revealed partnership with Skybound Entertainment, The Walker Stalkers have announced two big events taking place at PETCO Park during San Diego Comic-Con for fans of The Walking Dead to look forward to: the Walker Stalker Fan Fest and a revamped version of The Walking Dead Escape.
On July 10th and 11th, zombie fans can gather at San Diego’s PETCO Park for theWalker Stalker Fan Fest. Running from 11:00am – 5:00pm on the Friday and Saturday of Comic-Con weekend, Walker Stalker Fan Fest will include The Walking Dead cast appearances, panels, autograph sessions, photo ops, cosplaying, and much more. Tickets for this ultimate gathering of The Walking Dead followers will be on sale soon:
“Walker Stalker Fan Fest is the fruit of The Walker Stalkers Podcast Presented By Skybound’s The Walking Dead. The podcast began with an amazing trip to Senoia, GA where its hosts, James & Eric, were able to view the set of The Walking Dead and meet the incredible actors from the show. As a result of this experience, a podcast began and then the idea of a convention focused around recreating that same experience with the cast and crew of the show, along with talented actors and artists from other zombie shows, movies and art.
Walker Stalker Fan Fest is not just a celebration of Robert Kirkman’s world of The Walking Dead and zombies, it’s a fan meet-up and an opportunity for each guest to come away feeling like they’ve had an amazing experience and became part of a greater community of zombie lovers! Walker Stalker Fan Fest is two days of events, panels, and experiences that zombie fans won’t find anywhere else!

So far the guest list is shaping up pretty nicely. The Walking Dead roster includes Andrew J. West (“Gareth”), Chad Coleman (“Tyreese”), Kyla Kenedy (“Mica”), Brighton Sharbino (“Lizzie”), Scott Wilson (“Hershel Greene”), Tyler James Williams (“Noah”), Michael Rooker (“Merle Dixon”), Emily Kinney (“Beth Greene”), Iron E. Singleton (“T-Dog”), and Lawrence Gilliard Jr. (“Bob Stookey”). Besides photo ops and autograph opportunities with your favorite stars of the show, there will also be an Emily Kinney concert Saturday night at 8 p.m. If you haven’t seen this concert, I highly recommend checking it out. Emily is an amazing vocalist, and her concert has become a staple at all of the Walker Stalker conventions.
