Over the next few weeks, a good deal of network shows are winding down for a winter hiatus. So, if you are looking for something to watch in the interim and love good crime dramas, check out Major Crimes on TNT which returns for the second half of season 3 on November 24th.
This winter on Major Crimes, the squad will be called upon to investigate the murder of a woman serving as a surrogate mother, a vicious attack at a teen party, the death of a former child actor hoping to make a comeback and a bank robbery and shooting that takes place against the backdrop of a Santa Claus flash mob. In addition, Lieutenant Provenza meets someone who will change his life and Buzz starts training to be a backup officer.
On the home front, Rusty continues to make progress putting his turbulent past behind him, especially after finally facing the truth about his biological mother’s addiction. Meanwhile, Sharon begins the process of formally adopting Rusty just in time for a big family gathering for the holidays.
Major Crimes stars Mary McDonnell, G.W. Bailey, Tony Denison, Michael Paul Chan, Raymond Cruz, Phillip P. Keene, Kearran Giovanni, Graham Patrick Martin, Jonathan Del Arco and Robert Gossett. In addition to the main cast, the series also features recurring appearances by Jon Tenney as Deputy Chief Fritz Howard — one of the original characters from the series The Closer. And Billy Burke will make his first Major Crimes appearance, reprising his role from The Closer as serial killer Phillip Stroh, who claims to have information that could lead to a new deal with the District Attorney’s office.
Major Crimes returns on November 24th at 9/8c on TNT.
